Collecting your personal information
We will collect personal information about you when you submit it to us via our websites or any website linked to MP (including where you submit your curriculum vitae or complete an online form or application form), via our consultants (when you correspond or discuss a recruitment opportunity with them) and also when you visit our websites. The information we obtain from you may include your name, e-mail address, postal address and telephone number, details of your current and previous employment history, work performance, education and training and any other information you decide to share with us.
There may be occasions when MP will source personal information about you from an external third party (including from your previous employer and named referees included on your application form or curriculum vitae), or from other publicly available source such as LinkedIn.
Although we do not make it compulsory to give us every item of information we ask for, the more information you volunteer (and the more accurate it is), the better we can tailor our services to your needs. You may refuse to provide any of the personal information we request, however, this may restrict our ability to provide the recruitment or other related services you have requested.
Collecting sensitive information
Depending on the nature of the role applied for, we may need to collect and process sensitive personal information about you which may include information about your health (including details of any sick leave taken during your previous roles), details of any disability, details of any offences you have committed or are alleged to have committed and whether you are a member of any professional or trade associations. You may refuse to provide any of the sensitive personal information we request, however, this may restrict our ability to provide the recruitment or other related services you have requested.
In addition, as part of our commitment to diversity and equality of opportunity, to monitor compliance with our equal opportunity policy and similar policies where statistics regarding diversity and equality are requested by our clients, we may ask you to complete an equality monitoring form. Where you are asked to complete an equality monitoring form, information is provided voluntarily and on an anonymous basis for statistical analysis only. It is not stored with your other personal records.
Purpose of personal information
We collect your personal information so that we can provide our services to you, including to:
- provide you with information about job vacancies and to assist you in finding a suitable position
- provide you with consultancy services – which may include career guidance and management services
- manage a temporary or contract assignment
- inform you of events, services and possible job opportunities
- analyse visitor trends and traffic on our websites – this information does not identify you individually
- assist in managing our relationship with you and our clients
- carry out market research and marketing analysis
Disclosure of personal information
In the course of providing our services we may need to disclose your personal information to other companies and to trusted third parties including:
- where those companies or third parties assist us in supplying our services to you or perform certain functions on our behalf, including psychometric testing and reference/qualification checking, IT support services or professional services

Transferring your personal information across international borders
My Panacea has global ties and collaboration with many international companies and, due to the nature of the services we provide, we will transfer the personal information you provide to us, and permit it to be accessed by, our affiliated companies and third parties in other countries outside the Kingdom of Bahrain, Certain of those countries may not offer a degree of protection to your personal information equivalent to that afforded by the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Where you apply for roles with employers based outside the Kingdom of Bahrain, your personal information will be sent to employers in that country. By submitting your personal information to us, you are agreeing to your personal information being transferred to our offices and to prospective employers in those countries.
Security and storage of personal information
Safeguarding personal information and respecting the confidentiality of your information is important to MP. We will take the necessary steps, including putting in place adequate technical and organizational measures, to protect your personal information
Using our website
A cookie is a small text file that is stored on your computer, for use when you return to a page/website that you have visited before to prevent you having to re-enter the information requested. Cookies are not required to view our website. On our websites our cookies contain information required for downloading documents and for tracking the pages you visit. Our cookies are non-permanent and will be removed when you close your browser.

If you want to know what information we hold about you, we will provide you with that information on receiving a request from you. Any such request should be made to us in writing.
